The neighbor of a previous landscaping customer in Fredericksburg liked the landscaping we did at his neighbor’s house so much, that he hired us to do a similar installation at his home. This is a foundational landscaping around a home in Frederickburg, Virginia. This short stone wall helps bring to level a sloping side yard (which is common in the Northern Virginia area) and allows for a more prominent planting bed. This stone block retaining wall was installed alongside a customers driveway to prevent erosion and wash off from the hillside. While providing for erosion control, this retaining wall also provides an aesthetically pleasing area for planting between the first and second level. (more…)
